“worst nightmare” for Jurgen Klopp, the manager of Liverpool

According to The Mirror, Premier League managers “are facing a backlash” from clubs following the announcement of the most recent slate of broadcast games, which includes the postponed Everton vs. Liverpool match.
Due to Liverpool’s FA Cup quarterfinal appearance, the second Merseyside derby of the season was postponed until April 24 at Goodison Park. Three days later, Liverpool must go to West Ham in the early Saturday slot after being selected for TNT Sports broadcast.
Regarding the modifications, leading football writer for The Mirror John Cross stated in an article for the online edition of the newspaper on March 24: Premier League executives are receiving criticism for rescheduling their most recent match.

Arsenal’s backlog of games is likely to cause them dissatisfaction, while Tottenham will have an incredible 15 days off until the Sunday, April 28 North London rivalry. “Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp will also have to play at West Ham on the Saturday lunchtime TV slot at 12.30pm on April 27—a Merseyside derby against Everton at Goodison Park on Wednesday, April 24—which is his worst nightmare.” Scheduling a time slot for the Merseyside derby was always going to be a challenge. The only other guaranteed spot was in the last week of the season since Liverpool was playing in the Europa League. It is easy to understand why they chose to move the game to April given how much may be at stake for both clubs. Everton can now see a clearer picture of their upcoming schedule, which includes home matches against Brentford and Nottingham Forest in between that Merseyside derby.
We shall know if any more points have been taken away before then, and it may be a pivotal week in the Toffees’ season. Right now, though, everyone’s attention is on the journey to Bournemouth the next weekend before planning too far ahead. It’s not quite a must-win, but it’s a huge game for the team.
In other Everton news, a Premier League team might decide to make a summer deal that would “a favour” the Toffees.
