He must drop three players to ruin Jurgen Klopp’s dream Liverpool farewell

Erik ten Hag, the manager of Manchester United, must make some important choices in an FA Cup quarterfinal matchup against Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool.
Tomorrow’s FA Cup quarterfinal between Manchester United and Liverpool may make or break the team’s season and even the future of Erik ten Hag. The Red Devils’ expectations have been raised ahead of their crucial matchup at Old Trafford against their fierce rivals thanks to three positive pieces of team news. As Jurgen Klopp’s quartet of hopefuls arrive at M16, Ten Hag has revealed that Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Harry Maguire, and Rasmus Hojlund are once again in the running. Furthermore, the Dutchman needs to start all three against Liverpool if he hopes to have the best chance of securing a semi-final appearance at Wembley Stadium.

This weekend, Express Sport examines who should withdraw to make room for Wan-Bissaka, Maguire, and Hojlund.  Jonny Evans’ minutes are being controlled while he recovers from a minor injury, according to United. He is not going to play in the March games for Northern Ireland. The 36-year-old’s unexpected comeback has been a hit, giving him invaluable experience giving his best performances in the biggest games.
Ten Hag won’t put Evans at danger this weekend so that Evans can get back to full fitness, though, as Maguire is back in the mix.
At the center of the hosts’ defense, Maguire should be partnered with Raphael Varane, with Wan-Bissaka and Diogo Dalot on either side.  Thus, in a logical move, Victor Lindelof would be the second defender to go. Maguire is the better player, and when he’s ready, he will start. Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia may be sidelined until the end of the season, forcing Lindelof to step in at left-back.
However, Dalot will be able to go to the left as Wan-Bissaka makes his way back on the right thanks to his return.
Due to the ongoing impasse in contract negotiations, the 26-year-old’s future is unclear. But against Klopp’s high-scoring offense, his defensive prowess will be vital, and his availability is a big plus.  Having just been crowned the competition’s February Player of the Month, he will be hoping to carry on his unrelenting goal-scoring streak when Liverpool visits town.
Hojlund has produced eight goals in his last eight appearances in all competitions, including six goals in the league.
With Hojlund, Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho, and Casemiro, Kobbie Mainoo, and Bruno Fernandes in the middle of the field, Scott McTominay ought to be the one to make way.
