“He is very experienced.” The Leeds United youngster who always wants the ball has a Sky Sports commentator in awe.

Sue Smith, a pundit for Sky Sports, has made her assessment of Leeds United young player Archie Gray. The England international and former Leeds United Women player has identified what makes Gray a unique player. Archie Gray made his way into the first team after going through Leeds United’s junior system.
Among Daniel Farke’s team’s best and most crucial players is Gray. He’s only seventeen now.

Even more impressive about the England Under-20 international is that he plays right back even though his natural position is midfield. And Gray is performing admirably in that capacity. This season, the adolescent has played for Leeds in the Championship with 31 starts and two substitute appearances. In those games, he has contributed two assists.
This season, the adolescent has also participated twice in the Carabao Cup and made two starts and one substitute appearance in the FA Cup. Sue Smith, a former England international and Leeds United Women player, has expressed her admiration for Gray.
“I think the fact that he can play full-back, he can play in midfield, at such a young age, he is so mature and he plays with a real confidence, wanting the ball and wanting to play it forward,” Smith said of Gray on Sky Sports News at 1:14 p.m. on March 2, 2024. Archie Gray, a teenage player for Leeds United, needs time and room to mature and develop at his own speed, in my opinion.
Nobody should, in my opinion, put him under excessive strain. The teenager will have difficult times from time to time, and eventually his performance will suffer. Everyone at Leeds, especially the supporters, needs to be encouraging and not judgmental during those trying times. Keep in mind that Gray is only 17 years old. He is a teenager who has recently begun working.
