Atlanta Braves are reportedly considering trading a world superstar…..

The Atlanta Braves are reportedly considering trading Dylan Cease, according to Bob Nightengale of USA Today.

The Chicago White Sox are considering trade offers for Cease, who turns 28 in December and is under team control for two more seasons. Despite a down 2023 season, Cease’s peak in 2022 was a 2.20 ERA and second place in AL Cy Young voting, making him an attractive trade target. The Los Angeles Dodgers are also mentioned as potential suitors.

Cease, a 43-35 hitter with a 3.83 ERA and 10.8 strikeouts per nine innings, has made 33 starts in five seasons with the White Sox. If acquired, teams would expect him to reduce hits allowed in 2024 compared to 2023. The Braves, who had the best MLB record last season, lost in the NLDS to the Phillies for the second consecutive year
