The SEC Network’s schedule on Tuesday will be dominated by the Wildcats.

On Tuesday, July 2, the SEC Network’s “Takeover Day” will highlight University of Kentucky Athletics with a full day of Wildcat programming.

Replays of Kentucky women’s basketball, baseball, women’s soccer, men’s basketball, gymnastics, softball, volleyball, and football from the 2023–24 academic year will be available.

Below is the full schedule.

Women’s Basketball vs. Florida at 2:00 a.m.

2:00 a.m.: South Carolina baseball game

Women’s soccer versus Alabama at 4:00 a.m.

6:00 a.m.: Mississippi State Men’s Basketball

8:00 a.m.: Alabama Gymnastics

9:30 a.m.: Alabama against. Softball

11:30 a.m.: Louisville football game

2:30 PM: Florida vs. Volleyball

4:00 p.m.: Football vs. Florida on “SEC Inside”

Baseball versus Vanderbilt at 4:30 p.m.

Many of the best defensive backs in college football are flexed in this league.

The SEC needs to play outstanding defense, particularly in the secondary, if it hopes to send several teams back to the College Football Playoffs. Recent recruiting success and a significant amount of transfer portal activity this offseason indicate that this league is stocked with potential first-round NFL Draft selections ahead of the 2024 season on the back end.

Nothing compares to having a hard-hitting safety lurking in centerfield or a ballhawk beginning at cornerback. Georgia will tell you how significant secondary play has been recently. Since the beginning of the 2021 season, the Bulldogs have won two national titles and allowed just 38 touchdown passes, which is an SEC-low.

LSU is one SEC team hoping to turn things around after a terrible performance at the back part of the previous season. To try and figure out what went wrong, the Tigers have appointed a new defensive coordinator.
