South Beach is going to see Kevin Love again!

According to a Sunday report from The Athletic and Stadium’s Shams Charania, the Miami Heat and veteran player Kevin Love have agreed on a two-year agreement, bringing the 35-year-old back to the 3-0-5 and the NBA at that.

With no options, the contract is valued at more than $30 million. (RELATED: 76ers Emerge As Front-Runners To Sign Paul George, George Notifies Clippers He Won’t Be Re-Signing: REPORT)

Love decided not to use his $4 million player option over the weekend, but he and Miami still intended to complete the task of negotiating a new contract.

Love averaged 8.8 points and 6.1 rebounds per game while shooting 34.4% from three points for the Heat in 55 games during the 2023–24 season. September marks Love’s 36th birthday.

Love has played in 16 NBA seasons, winning a championship in 2016. He has been selected as an All-Star five times and twice to the All-NBA Second Team. He has played for the Heat, the Minnesota Timberwolves, and the Cleveland Cavaliers, with whom he assisted in their 2023 NBA Finals appearance.

As I mentioned in my tweet, I’m glad to see Kevin Love rejoining the Miami Heat. He got along well with the roster and was productive for us the previous season.
