Rafael Devers, an All-Star third baseman  who joined the team in 2017, is the happy new owner of a house in Miromar Lakes, Florida.

The six-bedroom, seven-bath mansion was just purchased by the slugging infielder for $4.6 million.

The 5,100-square-foot property was constructed in 2014, and it’s only a short drive to Cape Coral and downtown Fort Myers. Fenway South, the Red Sox’s spring training complex, is located in Fort Myers.

Picture-perfect specifics
The home was created by Harbourside Custom Homes and served as a model home before undergoing numerous improvements a decade ago.

A gourmet kitchen, formal and informal dining areas, an office, a den, and a bonus room are all part of its open-concept design.

The expansive living area features a floor-to-ceiling window that extends to the backyard, built-in shelving, and a vaulted ceiling.

In the meanwhile, there’s a breakfast nook, marble countertops, and a central island with seating in the adjacent kitchen.

Among the warm, first-floor features are arched doorways, a wet bar, and elegant wood and tile floors.

Better yet, the main suite boasts a luxurious, spa-quality bathroom complete with a gold-accented shower, a porcelain soaking tub, and a wraparound vanity.

With its covered pool and Jacuzzi, fireplace, summer kitchen, and recently installed boat dock, the backyard is equally impressive.

Tennis and pickleball courts, a golf club with an award-winning clubhouse, and a fitness center are all accessible with a monthly HOA charge.

The full-service spa, dining by the waterfront, and art theater are all available to community members.

Devers, 27, joined the Boston Red Sox after making his debut in the major leagues in July 2017. In addition to becoming a two-time All-Star, he won the 2018 World Series. He extended his contract by 10 years last year, which will keep him in Boston until 2033.
