Arkansas football 'boosted' its chances for 4-star lineman Carius Curne |  Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

Caruys Curne, a four-star offensive tackle from Marion, Arkansas, was always a possibility to play for the Razorbacks and stay in-state.

As a matter of fact, Curne was once devoted to Arkansas. However, a trip to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, in March gave him new opportunities. After withdrawing from Arkansas, he seemed to have made the decision to try both schools.

Curne made an official visit to Arkansas on June 7 and then went to LSU on June 14.

Now formally a Bayou Bengal, he passed on Arkansas to attend LSU. Additionally, the Missouri Tigers were a contender.

Curne told On3, “The coaches, the NFL development, and the resources for player and personal development are the biggest reasons I committed to LSU.” “I adore the program’s heritage. The more I researched each school during the recruiting process, the more I was certain that I wanted to play somewhere that had a history of producing elite NFL players and winning championships. I’m convinced that LSU offers the finest environment for me to succeed as a student-athlete after seeing every university.

Curne is an important investment for LSU. in the true sense.

At six feet four inches and 300 pounds, he is a two-way star in high school. He is widely regarded as the best prospect out of Arkansas and is ranked as the No. 11 offensive tackle in the 2025 class by 247Sports Composite.
