The Oklahoma Sooners are now in the running for one of the best high school football tight ends.
DaSaahn Brame, a four-star tight end, is altering his opinion of the Sooners, who are leading the Oregon Ducks and ersTennessee in the standings.
In a fresh step in his recruitment, Brame disclosed his current position with Oklahoma.
“Oklahoma moved up quite a bit, and it is tight up there (at the top) for me with them, Oregon and Tennessee.”
Any one of the three could definitely benefit greatly from landing the four-star tight end. Teams will take any talent they can find along the line of scrimmage since positions like this are so rare.
In 2024, all three clubs intend to compete for a spot in the College Football Playoffs. Tennessee and Oklahoma have the skill to contend for a postseason berth, but Oregon is a clear favorite.
The tight end may be impacted in some way by the season. Perhaps the Sooners can only get better in recruiting if they succeed in their debut season in the SEC.
With the best tight end available, Oklahoma head coach Brent Venables will try to keep up his persuasive recruiting appeal.
