Rams’ top three trade targets to complete their squad in 2024
With a refreshed roster this summer, the Los Angeles Rams intend to return to the postseason in 2024. The Rams qualified for the playoffs the year after a dismal 5-12 campaign, but they were defeated by former franchise quarterback Jared Goff and the Detroit Lions in a close contest.
Aaron Donald, a legendary defensive tackle who announced his official retirement from the NFL earlier this summer, will not be playing for the Rams going forward. In addition to having a potent offensive core that includes QB Matthew Stafford, WRs Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua, and RBs Kyren Williams and rookie Blake Corum, Los Angeles is still led by excellent coach Sean McVay. Los Angeles has cause for confidence that they might once more be in the postseason.
Their roster does have some gaps, though. A few key injuries at the wrong places may ruin the Rams’ season. In order to strengthen their roster, Los Angeles should therefore think about adding depth players prior to training camp.
We’ll talk about three potential trade targets below that the Rams should think about over the coming weeks. The Rams need these guys at various positions, and it should be quite simple to trade for any of them.

Washington Commanders wide receiver Dyami Brown
Former third-round selection Dyami Brown has fallen short of the hype. The fact that Brown is no longer playing for the government that drafted him puts him in an awkward position. Given that Brown is nearing the end of his rookie contract, he is not very valuable to the Washington team as they prepare for the future. The easiest option to extract some value from Brown would be to trade him for a draft pick before to the season.
The Rams, however, have a covertly significant need at wide receiver depth. Although Kupp and Nacua are a fantastic duo of starting receivers, the depth behind them appears to be lacking. The two greatest backup alternatives are Demarcus Robinson and Tutu Atwell, who both shined in a few moments earlier. But then again, neither of them has never been in the doghouse. Kupp or Nacua suffering a protracted injury would pose a serious threat to LA’s offensive line. The Rams would have more wide receiver options and be better protected against injuries if they had someone like Dyami Brown in the room.
After the 2024 season, the Rams may even re-sign Dyami Brown to a cheap two-year deal if they like what they see in him.
If Los Angeles doesn’t have to give up too much, they should give a move like this considerable consideration.
Chicago Bears – T – Larry Borom
This offseason, the Rams have made some significant upgrades in the offensive line. Their tackle depth is questionable, though. With Rob Havenstein and Joe Noteboom at right tackle, they appear to be doing alright, but they could definitely use some support behind Alaric Jackson on the left side.
Larry Borom of Chicago might be the ideal choice for an economy trade. After drafting Kiran Amegadjie this year and replacing Borom with Braxton Jones, the Bears no longer have a great need for Borom.
Borom is a capable backup lineman who can play on either side of the offensive line, but he is not particularly good. He has played right tackle in the past, but in 2023 the Bears gave him a go at left tackle. Borom made six starts for Chicago in the previous campaign and had some strong pass-blocking abilities.
Additionally, Larry Borom’s current contract is about to expire, thus a trade of him would probably be inexpensive.
Larry Borom’s, cornerback with the Philadelphia Eagles
In the NFL Draft of 2024, the Philadelphia Eagles selected two defensive backs. Also, former Colts cornerback Isaiah Rodgers has garnered excellent ratings. The Eagles appear to have an enormous excess of cornerbacks.
Because of his deal, Bradberry might be the CB that Philly wants to move. His current deal, for $38 million, is set to expire in 2025 and is for three years. In 2024, his cap hit will just be $4.31 million, which the Rams should be able to bear.
To complement Tre’Davious White, the Rams could definitely use another cornerback of the starting quality. If Bradberry were to join the Rams, he would probably take over as the team’s starting cornerback for the ensuing few seasons.
Los Angeles should be speaking with Philadelphia as long as they feel comfortable accepting Bradberry’s compensation. Both teams stand to gain from this possible transaction.
